HIGH MOUNTAIN TREKKING
The Tour of Bessanese is a high mountain trekking that always remains above 2200 m above sea level, exceeding 3000 – 3200 m on the border between France and Italy (Graie Alps). The environment is varied, among alpine meadows, lakes, and glacial moraines with views of the last glaciers, unfortunately in substantial melting. Overnight stays are planned at the alpine refuges along the route.
