EASY SNOWSHOE HIKE THROUGH NATURE AND OLD HAMLETS
During winter time everything seems to be quiet, the sound of footsteps changes from a light “woof” to a louder “crack” depending on the snow; animals leave visible footprints as they pass by and the vegetation seems to be sleeping: wearing snowshoes in winter allows you to discover small naturalistic curiosities of the Lanzo Valleys.
Occasionally we will enter ancient hamlets where time seems to have stopped in another age. Here we can hear stories and lifestyles that are incredible for us, modern men and women.
Not just a simple snowshoe hike, but an interactive and engaging experience just over an hour’s drive from Turin.
It will be a good introduction to snowshoeing, perhaps discovering a tool that on other occasions may lead to more challenging destinations, but also an excellent opportunity for those curious about nature or local traditions.
